Valued Horton Plumbing and Remodeling Customers,
Like most of you, the team at Horton Plumbing has spent the last few weeks learning about the Corona Virus (COVID-19) and the impact that it is having across Michigan and the world.
Our plumbing business is built on a foundation of consideration for our community, vendors, clients, employees, and company. During times such as the ones we are currently experiencing, this means taking every precaution possible to prevent the spread of this infectious disease while continuing to provide critical service as an essential, critical infrastructure exempt from the Governor’s Executive Order (2020-2020 COVID-19).
Horton Plumbing and Remodeling has implemented several procedures in our business to respond to and reduce the threat of COVID-19 as we continue to service the members of our community including:
- The Horton Plumbing showroom is closed and will not reopen to foot traffic until the threat of COVID-19 has been reduced
- Cleaning and sanitation services are being provided on a daily basis, focused on all high-contact and high-traffic areas
- Service technicians are taking extra precautions when entering a customer’s home including inquiring about the health of customers as well as wearing protective gear such as gloves
- Employees with a fever or any sign of illness are mandated to stay home. All employees are required to report any signs or symptoms immediately and will not be allowed in-person contact with others until the risk of infection has passed
All employees will follow the “CASCADE” policy:
C – Clean hands often
A – Avoid close contact
S – Stay home if sick
C – Cover coughs and sneezes
A – Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
D – Disinfect and clean frequently touched surfaces
E – Ensure customer’s needs are addressed
The team at Horton Plumbing knows that plumbing problems occur even during times of illness and health concerns. If you need to schedule plumbing service during the upcoming days and weeks Horton Plumbing will be here to service your plumbing needs. We are committed to serving the needs of residential and commercial plumbing clients to the best of our ability while maintaining the lowest possible health risks to clients and employees.
We will continue to closely monitor COVID-19 as it continues to change each day and remain steadfast in our commitment to the health and safety of our clients and employees while providing essential, critical plumbing services.
-All the best in health from the team at Horton Plumbing and Remodeling-
